The CD-ROM is an electronic companion to a new edition of the book ''Fifty Russian Artists'' (Raduga Publishers, Moscow). The book presents biographies of famous Russian artists. The electronic companion on CD-ROM (produced by ''Mart'' Studio) contains more than 200 images of the most valuable masterpieces of Russian art in addition to the set of illustrations printed in the book. User friendly interface provides convenient access to images due to user''s preferences. Special marks point out a number of the book page related with the chosen artist. The disk provides also an album area for favorite paintings customized by the user.
