Multimedia presentation is considered to be a mean for development business links. Instead of publicity and digital catalogues appear multimedia presentations and editions, which presuppose large commercial projects. The sphere of using the multimedia presentations is also enlarged. Today this new informational technology is used not only in business and entertainment industry, but even in public and commercial spheres for attraction sponsors and investors.

1. Electronic Documentation is an Effective Way of Presentation of Projects.

The Committee of Public Service for Protection and Using of historical and cultural monuments of Administration of Saint-Petersburg has a great experience in using the multimedia presentations for attraction sponsors and investors. Between 1997 and 2002 by the order of this Committee the "Art Media" company made about 20 multimedia editions, including "The Enumeration of Objects for Attraction the Sponsors Supporting for Restoration and Reconstruction the Objects of Culture of Saint-Petersburg". Among them there are multimedia presentations for the following projects: the Palace of Prince Aleksey, the Sheremetyev Palace, the Summer Residences of Benoise, Yusupov, Samoylova, buildings in Kronschtadt and so on.
Orientation the multimedia presentations toward sponsors and investors was demanded from workers of the Committee and "Art Media" company the creation of methodology of presentation the information, which at high level unites performance and interaction of the multimedia presentation with full and exact information (historical reference, drawings, plans, facades, archive and modern photo fiction), which is necessary for a potential investor for making up a decision of participation in the competition.
2. Multimedia Attracts Sponsors'' Attention.

One of the original ways of attracting sponsors for restoration of objects of cultural legacy for 300 anniversary of the Northern Capital was found by the Administration of Saint-Petersburg.
The list, compared by the Committee of Protection and Using the Monuments of Administration, contained 132 objects, including historical buildings, sculpture, fences, metallic decorations, clocks, and other monuments of history and culture, as in the city itself, even in its famous suburbs: Pushkin, Pavlovsk, Petrodvorets, Gatchina. Naturally, the information about all these objects had pictures: modern – as it is now, and archive – as it was in past. It''s clear, that traditional press-realize and even booklet couldn''t contain all this information. The preparing of a solid publication like an album was very expensive and slow (publishing of such albums is long business, but the jubilee of the city will be soon). Besides, at first it wasn''t clear what circulation was necessary, and it was impossible to put new objects in traditional albums, and to put definitions in old books, connected with their price. It''s clear, that some years ago such demands to the book looked "crazy", taking in considerance that the publishers wanted to choose some objects from the 132 ones according to the criteria (the type, the place, the money for restoration).
As it appears, the publishers of the Committee have understood the possibilities of electronic albums for a period of 5 years. That''s why the task was fulfilled not only professionally but absolutely pragmatically: within 2 month the specialists of "Art Media" prepared the multimedia album on CD-Rom. There were edited about 20 CD''s, enough for the press and as a present for the Administration of the city. The press-conference and PR company resulted in other CD''s were recorded according to the demands of the concrete sponsors. So, with a little budget and in a short period of time the Administration of Saint-Petersburg attracted sponsors and did it in original way and up to time.
A year later after the publication of the first album, The Committee is preparing the more defined edition of the List of object. The price of a new edition will be the price of CD-Roms, where it will be recorded, as the company "Art Media" will make necessary changes in the old edition free of charge.
