INFORMATION SYSTEM:
HISTORICAL & CULTURAL HERITAGE OF SVERDLOVSK REGION (HCH SR)

Since 2000 information system for solving historical & cultural heritage state protection problems of Sverdlovsk region is designed by Memorial protection scientific center of Sverdlovsk region and Urals regional geoinformation center “Uralgeoinform”. This system includes:

 Joint information system (linked subbrunches) based on Internet technology.
 Data analysis and archeological memorial data viewing Geographic Information System (GIS) of Sverdlovsk regional digital map in 1:1000000, 1:200000 and 1:25000 scales.
 GIS for archeological memorials and their protected areas data analysis, viewing, and transmitting for remote users, using appropriate digital maps of the historical cities of Sverdlovsk region in 1:5000, 1:2000 scales.
 Three-dimensional of certain architectral monuments and their territories. Landscape analysis for determination of possibilities and ways of adapting the planned urban planning in conditions of history city.

Today, this information system includes: 4 maps of 1:1000000 scale, 60 maps of 1:200000 scale, the map of city Ekaterinburg (1:25000 scale), the map of cities Nevyansk and Verkhoturje (1:2000 and 1:500 scale). Total information volume is more than 2 Gb. The Database includes objects text descriptions, photos all memorials of history and cultures, the plans of areas, 3D models of memorials of architecture, 3D model of Kremlin territory (which is disposed in Verkhoturje).
