There is a 30 min. movie about the palaces of the Hermitage as well as hundreds of works by the great European masters. These works are known all over the world and are the source of Hermitage pride. There are 310 works by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Titian, El Greco, Velazquez, Rembrandt, Goya, Rubens, Van Dyck, Durer, Cranach, Poussin, Monet, Van Gogh, Gougin, Matisse, Picasso and other European masters known all over the world, which are the State Hermitage Museum''''s pride. The core of the Hermitage collection is presented in an artistic manner providing a unique opportunity to study the art of Western Europe in the period from the 12th to the 20th centuries.

The works of the great masters are presented in 75 narrated interactive tours with background music. There are approximately four hours of tours.

Western art history is presented as an electronic book, rich with explanations and cross-reference.

The extensive and powerful index provides prompt access to each piece of the art collection.

Each art object is depicted and described with narrative commentaries. Individual works are enhanced with pan and zoom features.

The viewer can create an individual album containing his selections and his own observations.

An interactive virtual museum tour with 3D graphics with background music.

Music by Palestrina, Bach, Boccerini, Schubert, Saint-Saens, Bizet, Ravel and other European composers of the 14th - 17th centuries can be heard played by renowned musicians.
